About Waseley Hills High School

Of the 61 parents who responded to Ofsted's Parent View survey between September 2024 and September 2025, 74% said they would recommend Waseley Hills High School to other families. That's a solid majority, though it leaves more than a quarter who wouldn't. The school is clearly popular locally: for September 2025 entry, it received 240 applications for 160 places, an oversubscription ratio of 1.5, with 130 of those 132 first-preference families offered a spot. Parents were most positive about the range of subjects (85% agreed or strongly agreed there was a good choice) and clubs and activities (85% agreed). On the trickier side, only 43% felt concerns were dealt with properly, and just 43% thought SEND children got the support they needed — a significant minority of parents clearly feel the school falls short in these areas.
