About Patchway Community School

Of the 68 parents who responded to Ofsted's Parent View survey between September 2024 and September 2025, 76% said they would recommend Patchway Community School to other parents. That's a solid majority, though it leaves nearly a quarter who wouldn't. The school is clearly popular locally: for entry in 2025/26, it received 188 applications for 128 places, an oversubscription ratio of 1.47, with 105 first-preference offers made. Parents responding to the survey were most positive about the range of subjects available and the clubs and activities on offer, with 89% and 79% respectively agreeing or strongly agreeing their child could access them. On trickier questions, views were more mixed: 78% felt their child was happy, but only 53% agreed bullying was dealt with quickly and effectively, and a notable 53% of respondents said the question didn't apply to them. Concerns about behaviour and SEND support also drew significant minority disagreement.
