Ofsted's Parent View survey, based on 127 responses collected between September 2024 and September 2025, shows that 56% of parents would recommend Oasis Academy Sholing to others. The school is a non-denominational, mixed secondary for ages 11 to 16, with no sixth form. It is almost at full capacity with 1,032 pupils against a capacity of 1,050. A third of pupils (32.8%) are eligible for free school meals, above the national average. Facilities include art studios, a library, science labs, an astro turf, music rooms, a theatre, and a chapel. Sports on offer include tennis, dance, cross country, martial arts, rowing, athletics, netball, basketball, and swimming. Clubs include newspaper, Model UN, debate, gardening, orchestra, chess, choir, drama, and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. The school has a wide range of SEND provisions, covering specific learning difficulties like dyslexia, moderate learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, speech and language needs, hearing and visual impairments, physical disabilities, and autistic spectrum disorder.
