About King's Caple Primary Academy

Every single parent who responded to the Ofsted Parent View survey said they would recommend King's Caple Primary Academy, and the school is clearly popular locally. For the 2025/26 intake, the school received seven applications for just four places, giving an oversubscription ratio of 1.75. All four first-preference applicants were offered a place, but the numbers show demand outstrips supply. The parent feedback is remarkably strong across the board: 100% of respondents strongly agreed that their child is happy at the school, and 90% strongly agreed that their child feels safe. On behaviour, 80% strongly agreed the school ensures pupils are well-behaved, and 80% strongly agreed their child does well. Communication also scores highly, with 80% strongly agreeing the school keeps them informed about their child's progress. With only 23 pupils on roll against a capacity of 70, this is a very small, tight-knit school where families clearly feel involved and listened to.
