About Fittleworth CofE Village School

Fittleworth CofE Village School has a strong parent community, with 95% of respondents to the Parent View survey saying they would recommend the school, based on responses collected between September 2024 and September 2025. That enthusiasm is backed up by the numbers: 74% of parents strongly agreed their child is happy, and 79% strongly agreed their child feels safe. The school is clearly popular locally, too. For the 2025/26 academic year, it received 56 applications for just 20 places, giving an oversubscription ratio of 2.8. Of those, 18 were first-preference applications, and 17 first-preference offers were made. Parents also felt strongly about the range of activities on offer, with 68% strongly agreeing their child can take part in clubs and activities, and 54% strongly agreeing there is a good range of subjects. The picture from parents is overwhelmingly positive, though it is worth noting that on the question of whether concerns are dealt with properly, 11% disagreed and 2% strongly disagreed, so a small minority have had a different experience.
