About Deanesfield Primary School
Deanesfield Primary School was rated Outstanding across every category in its most recent Ofsted inspection, a significant step up from its previous Good rating. The inspection, which took place in June 2025, awarded top marks for quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, early years provision, and leadership and management. But the strongest evidence of the school's academic strength lies in its Key Stage 2 results. In the 2023/24 academic year, 86% of pupils reached the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined, well above the Hillingdon local authority average of 64%. That performance placed Deanesfield first out of 55 primary schools in the borough, and in the top 5% nationally. The school also scored highly in individual subjects, with 97% of pupils reaching the expected standard in maths and an average maths score of 110.
Digging deeper into the exam data, Deanesfield's results show strength across the board, particularly in maths. 54% of pupils achieved the higher standard in maths, and 40% did so in reading, while 22% reached that level in writing. The combined higher standard figure for reading, writing and maths was 19%. These figures suggest the school is particularly effective at pushing able mathematicians further. The school's ranking score of 86 places it ahead of local peers like Whiteheath Junior School and The Breakspear School, both of which scored 82. Parent feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with 88% of respondents saying they would recommend the school. In the Parent View survey, 95% of parents strongly agreed or agreed that their child is happy at the school, and 96% felt their child does well there.
Deanesfield is a larger-than-average primary school, with 676 pupils on roll against a capacity of 568, and it is heavily oversubscribed. For the 2025/26 intake, there were 244 applications for 90 places, with 85 first-preference applications and 78 offers made to first-preference families. The school offers a nursery provision for children aged three and up. Facilities include a sports hall, gymnasium, music rooms, art studios, a sensory room and a chapel. The school has a broad range of SEND provisions, including support for autistic spectrum disorder, speech and language needs, and visual impairment, and it has a resourced provision. However, the Parent View data on SEND support is mixed: while 63% of parents agreed or strongly agreed that the school gives SEND children the support they need, 32% strongly disagreed, which is worth investigating further if your child has additional needs.

Catchment & Local Competition
No catchment data published for this school
The dashed grey ring is a generic 1-mile reference area — it's not an admission boundary. Real catchment depends on year, demand, and council criteria. We currently have real data for about 6% of UK schools and are actively expanding the database.
⚠ This school is oversubscribed — without published cutoff data we can't show how far places reach. Check your council's admissions page.
